I was born in Beijing, China, and fell in love with art at very young age with the influence and guidance of my father. I began to develop the interest of drawing and painting from my precious and unforgettable childhood. During those years, I served as the student art director and art designer in charge of different kind of artistic events/activities, such as the school’s newspaper, painting, and performing art, etc. My artwork received many medals and rewards. While working at the university in Beijing, China, I continued to be in charge of artistic events/activities, in addition to being a professional photographer.

Being a photographer has been my dream coming true from childhood.

From my middle school years, I began to learn the entire process of being a professional photographer, from taking the photos to the darkroom techniques. The unique combination of taking the photos and producing the artistic effects of the photo images through the special darkroom techniques enabled me to enhance and polish my professional photographer’s talents and skills, in terms of being able to understand and design the most attractive photo images from the eyes of an artist who is specialized at utilizing the camera to grasp the moment as well as visualizing the artistic effect of the moment that the camera desires to reflect. It is indeed the unique and special combination of many years’ experiences and inspirations. It is the representation of artistic talents and creative skills.

With more than 30 years' experiences of being a very experienced photographer, as well as more than 25 years' experiences of being a very talented and creative graphic artist /graphic designer, I can use different kind of computer softwares to create and design graphic imagesas well as website images. The graphic/artistic images that I created have been published in numerous advertising catalogs, magazines, posters, websites, etc. From viewing my website, you can quickly understand and appreciate my talent, skill, and experience in the fields of graphic design, advertising, artistic expression, and photography.
